At Maepop Market, our mission is to honor the legacy of our parents, who spent over 30 years serving Robeson, Scotland, Marlboro, and Dillon counties through produce farming and genuine community connection. They built more than a livelihood—they built a network of trust, generosity, and support that brought people together.
Our Roots
Our foundation is grounded in family, hard work, and helping others. Through bartering, extending credit, and always showing up for their neighbors, our parents created a culture where no one was left behind. Their farm wasn’t just a place of business—it was a place where friendships were formed, families gathered, and community thrived.

Whats in a name?
Mae Pop is named in honor of our parents. Our mothers name was Mable, but she was often called Mae. Our fathers name was Albert, but some of the kids called him Pop. We are committed to the success of this business and to operate it in such a way, that they would be proud. This is their legacy! We are grateful that you are apart of it.
